TA Thomas – W.I.A. (Where I’m At)

TA Thomas’ “W.I.A.” is a straightforward look into a striving relationship according to his one of a kind point of view. It follows his debut single as a solo artist, “June 15th,” which was released shortly after he left the boy band NextTownDown.

The thriving solo act chose to pair his raw, emotional lyrics with a hypnotic, uptempo melody despite their rawness. This song was written from my perspective of imperfection. Thomas elaborated in a statement, “Some people fall in love, and some GROW in love. It’s about the journey and not giving up.”

The singer claims that his debut EP, which is called “Untitled,” is meant to inspire vulnerability among listeners in addition to being a love letter to R&B.
