Video: Baby Tate – Pedi

The performer, who is now 25 years old and formerly went by the stage name Yung Baby Tate, decided to drop the initial word of her stage name as she moves into a new phase of her career. The rapper, singer, and all-around talent released the bouncy song “Pedi” on Friday (October 29). She has been teasing the song on social media throughout the month of October. The song brags about the insignificant things she’ll do if someone is foolish enough to take it to that level.

The visual, which was directed by Norton, demonstrates both her unique personality and her capacity to provide a complete performance. Baby Tate displays her impressive dance skills with lively choreography throughout the vibrant music video. While she is doing so, she disrupts the various settings with her mischievous yet entertaining antics.

In the song, Baby Tate brags about the petty pranks she gets away with, stating, “Real a** bi**h and I might be crazy, but at least I’m authentic” after she warns of giving parents screenshots without hesitating. Baby Tate is pleased of her behavior.
The song “Pedi” is her first release under her new stage name and with her new record company. The singer for After The Rain was formerly signed to Issa Rae’s Raedio label under Atlantic Records; however, she will be releasing songs in the future through Warner Records.
