Today (October 11), Brooklyn’s Casanova presented his Behind these Scars album for public consumption. The 10-track project kicks off with a sombre song called “Jail Call,” which is about a prisoner who is currently serving his sentence.

The clip was directed by Marc Diamond, and it begins with Casanova placing a collect call from behind bars in the hopes that someone will answer. Casanova spends the most of the song narrating the harsh reality of prison life, and the camera follows his struggles throughout the song as he attempts to survive behind bars.
