Video: Ciara – I Got You

Ciara, who recently gave birth to her infant son Future Zahir, has shared her newest music video, titled “I Got You,” and it stars the little one. Ciara takes us on a tour through her journey of motherhood and how wonderful she finds this new period in her life to be just in time for her first Mother’s Day, which is this coming Sunday. In addition to that, Future Zahir will make you laugh out loud at your computer screen.

The R&B singer, who is 29 years old, was quoted as saying to PEOPLE Magazine that “this song is very special to me as it is dedicated to my son.” While I was recording it, I couldn’t help but shed a few tears. This album unquestionably represents one of the most meaningful moments of my life.

Diane Warren and Harmony Samuels are both credited with writing the opening “tailor-made” lullaby section of the song, which Diane Warren also co-produced. The vocalist of “I Bet” has described it as her “go-to” song whenever she needs to soothe her child.

The first thing that is shown on the video is a home movie that CiCi shot of herself telling her parents that she was almost six months pregnant at the time. The majority of the footage in the video is in black and white, and it is comprised of home movies showing Ciara and her son Future engaging in a variety of activities together. These include Future playing in his walker down the hallway, sitting with his mother in the studio, and crawling over and over on the floor. Because it is just too adorable, you will find yourself saying “Awwww!!” during the entire duration of the video.
