Video: Jack Harlow - Denver

The “Denver” video by Jack Harlow was released on Wednesday, August 30. The Kentucky native is followed in the music video as he gets ready for a performance in the city of Colorado.

The song’s core is captured by director Eliel Ford, who depicts a secluded Harlow doubting his reputation. Jack may be seen writing his ideas down on paper while he lounges around in solitude in his hotel room. The Louisville emcee is also seen going to a strip club, although he still seems to be having a pseudo-existential crisis there. In the film, Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets also makes an appearance as Jack strolls across the city and the famous mountain backdrop.

Jack confronts his fear and melancholy over a sample of Douglas Penn’s “Do You Know.” The problems of Harlow’s inner circle are hinted at in the second verse of “Denver,” which features him at his most exposed.
