Video: Kanye West - Come to Life

Kanye West’s DONDA rollout has been extended yet again with the debut of the music video for “Come to Life,” which is the first visual to be made available in support of the album.

The video was constructed using footage captured during West’s most recent live DONDA listening session, which took place at Soldier Field stadium in Chicago on Thursday (August 26) and was broadcast live on Apple Music. The event was held last week. West’s performance of “Come to Life” was described as both passionate and gripping, and it generated an uproar on social media as a result of the rapper physically setting himself on fire during the performance. Kim Kardashian, the rapper’s estranged wife, made a surprise appearance on stage while wearing a white wedding dress. The rapper, who is 44 years old, was joined on stage by Kim Kardashian.

This past Sunday, August 29, saw the release of DONDA, Kanye West’s tenth studio album. The album’s release came after a number of setbacks and various alterations, including everything from the tracklist to the artists who were involved. The official release of the album features contributions from a number of artists, including Jay Z, Lil Durk, Lil Yachty, Buju Banton, Fivio Foreign, Travis Scott, Baby Keem, Kid Cudi, Don Toliver, Jay Electronica, DaBaby, Marilyn Manson, Ty Dolla Sign, Sunday Service Choir, and more. It is anticipated that the album will lead the way on the Billboard 200 chart when it is released. If everything goes according to plan, the first week of sales for Yeezy’s new album, DONDA, will be higher than those for his last album, Yeezus, which was released over ten years ago.
