Video: Key Glock – Ambition For Cash

The official music video for Key Glock’s most recent hit, “Ambition For Cash,” shows him gathering his team for the ultimate bank heist. In the video, the rapper from Memphis plots an armed heist by first pretending to be a customer at the made-up bank with the help of his friends, including fellow Paper Route EMPIRE signee Snupe Band.

The criminals arrive in a customized Chevy Impala on Peachtree Street, masked and armed and ready for battle. They hold the security officers and staff captive while shooting into the ceiling and escorting a bank clerk to the safe. Finally, the rapper from “Russian Cream” and his entourage escape and set the car on fire.

The 24-year-old raps, “My heart cold, last name Moncler.” The song, which was created by Tay Keith, is the first single from the upcoming album Yellow Tape 2. The album is the follow-up to Key Glock’s 2020 album Yellow Tape, which featured production from BandPlay and Kenny Beats among others and reached at #16 on the Billboard 200.

Juicy J, Sosa 808 and Budda Bless will also appear on Yellow Tape 2 in addition to more production from Tay Keith and BandPlay. Key Glock will rap on every track on the follow-up, much like the first album, with no appearances by other artists.

Key Glock and Young Dolph, the head of the Paper Route EMPIRE label, released Dum & Dummer 2, their second joint effort, earlier this spring. The first, Dum and Dummer, was released in 2019. Yellow Tape 2 will be made available through PRE in the fall of 2021.
