Video: Mak & Al-Doe - Street So Ugly

The video for “Streets So Ugly,” which features Mak and is the first audiovisual release from the Bronx rapper Al-Doe and producer Mak’s recently released collaborative album Drunk in Vegas, was released on March 26.

Al-Doe and Mak wax poetic on their individual hard-knock truths as the Wolph Creations-directed film follows Al-Doe around the streets of New York City. The video takes on a gritty perspective-is-reality point of view and follows Al-Doe. “People are used to me giving them the hardcore street sh*t, but I have a lot of range when it comes to flows and melodies, so I just wanted to show that growth and versatility,” Al-Doe says of his new long-playing album (LP). He goes on to describe Mak, a previous collaborator, as “a super dope new Harlem artist who focuses mainly on hooks and flows, but can really do it all.”
