Video: Maxo Kream X Tyler, The Creator - Big Persona

A new song called “Big Persona” by Houston rapper Maxo Kream was released with Tyler the Creator’s assistance. Both rappers display their largest purchases on the song, and life triumphs. Maxo Kream released screenshots of chats he had with his collaborator before the song was made public. The artists communicate back and forth in the iMessage thread as they plot to collaborate by exchanging beats, merchandise, and scheduling a meeting time.

Maxo Kream credits Crazy A*s Tyler with handling the opening verse of “Big Persona.” He also created the song with lots of drums. In the video, the two performers commandeer a vacant parking lot with their white Rolls Royces and cruise around while setting tyres on fire. They are occasionally joined by a group of enthusiastic peers who are also fired up about the song’s message.

Maxo Kream begins his verse about halfway through the song with, “Maxo Biggie Poppa, who you know that do it better? / I’m the trap Barack Obama, Betty Crocker, used to pedal.”

Prior to the release of the Texas rapper’s upcoming album Weight of the World in October, “Big Persona” was made available. Maxo Kream previously released “Local Joker” in July. It was the rapper’s first solo release at age 31 since the release of his critically praised album Brandon Banks in 2019. Maxo Kream’s life and work without his sibling will be covered in full in the autumn release as he advances in level.
