Video: Mya – It’s All About Me (25th Anniversary Remix)

Myá has accessed the never-ending source of youth. She’s already shown this by rocking a contemporary rendition of her iconic North Carolina jersey dress during a recent performance. She’s doing it once more, this time with a special dance video to mark the 25th anniversary of her popular duet “It’s All About Me.”

The celebrated director and choreographer Brian Friedman, who also worked on the singer-dancer’s “My Love is like Wo!” music video and her 2001 Janet Jackson tribute for MTV ICON, reconnected with the singer-dancer.

Working with the immensely energetic Brian Friedman was like coming full circle. According to Rated R&B, Ma said in a statement, “We have a history full of unforgettable moments, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for our 25th anniversary collaboration.” He brings out the very best in musicians thanks to his extraordinary talent, musicality, technique, adaptability, and expertise in both live and recorded performance. Reestablishing contact with excellence was a complete thrill.
