Video: Rapsody – Sassy

In the music video for the song “Sassy,” which was recently released, Rapsody demonstrates to us how to have a good time.

In the nearly four-minute music video that Mac Grant and Chad Tennies directed, Rapsody helps one of her close girlfriends enjoy a night out on the town free from her worries by accompanying her to a party. They wrap out the night with a dance party in a restaurant. Near the very end of the video, Big K.R.I.T. is also seen making a cameo appearance.

The track is included on the extended play (LP) Laila’s Wisdom, which is nominated for a Grammy, and it is also nominated for a Grammy in the “Best Rap Song” category. The album includes guest appearances from a wide variety of rap artists, including Kendrick Lamar, Busta Rhymes, Black Thought, BJ the Chicago Kid, and many others. She also has recently finished her “Wisdom Is Power” tour through 15 cities in the United States.
