R&B musician Sainvil, who is of Haitian and American descent, just shared the music video for “Too Many Times,” a track on which he collaborated with Yung Baby Tate. In the song, he talks about a relationship that, although not being the healthiest, keeps the singer hooked on it despite the fact that it is unhealthy. In an interview with Viper Mag that took place in February, Sainvil discussed his creative approach in further detail when making music videos.

“Hannan Hussain, who serves as my creative director, and I work together on all of our creative endeavors. You understand what I mean when I say that I enjoy having my voice heard. I have dreams of working in the film industry and creating my own films someday. Childish Gambino is one of the artists who has had the most influence on me. To have a healthy competition in my thoughts to outdo the individuals that I like is something that I enjoy doing. The new artist signed to Alamo Records made the following observation: “I’m watching the bars they set.”
