Video: Saucy Santana – Booty ft. Latto

The video for Saucy Santana’s newest single, “Booty,” which features Latto, has Saucy Santana back in full force.

The visually entertaining piece was directed by Jake Wilson, and it takes viewers to a bustling block party. It begins with a title sequence that is reminiscent of Booty Call (1997 film), while simultaneously delivering “Crazy in Love” authenticity through its utilisation of The Chi-Lites’ timeless classic “Are You My Woman? (Tell Me So)”.

It’s a celebration of all booties, featuring appearances from Kornbreak from RuPaul’s Drag Race, dancer Markell Washington, TikTok influencers Cristian Dennis and Tyshon Lawrence, fitness influencer Keegan Whicker, fellow rapper Kelechi, and more. With choreography from Sean Bankhead that will have viewers ready to twerk in their seats.

Saucy gives us a Baby Phat style that reminds us of JLo’s legendary velour fit in the “I’m Real (Remix)” video as the action transitions to a carnival-like game of darts and water balloons. Naturally, the vision wouldn’t be complete without all of the attendees making their way down a faux runaway rather than a Soul Train queue. After all, how else would twentysomethings with this much energy bring a party to a close?

Since signing with RCA Records, Saucy has been working on his first major release, which is the song that he has dubbed the “BBL anthem.”
