Video: Snoh Aalegra – NEON PEACH ft. Tyler, The Creator

TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIES, Snoh Aalegra’s most recent album, expands on the dreamy nature fans heard on Ugh, Those Feels Again.

Tyler, The Creator, who is always charming, joins Snoh on her new track, “Neon Peach.” According to Genius, the album was “[Snoh] exploring hints of funk and ’80s pop.”

According to Ebro Darden in an Apple Music interview, maintaining the song’s mystique, the term “Neon Peach” has nothing to do with the lyrics. The 34-year-old added, “He’s just one of the greats of our time,” when discussing the “dream” partnership. Simply put, Tyler has a higher level of skill. He’s the funniest person I’ve ever met on top of everything else. So it was hilarious to work with him. Never did it seem like effort. He is so talented that I would let him produce my entire album. I adore what he does.

The enjoyable picture from this dynamic coupling plays with cinematic effects when paired with Tyler’s production. The singer experiments with her appearance in the I.P.W.-directed video, wearing everything from a shiny silver outfit while sitting in a foil-covered room to a casual vintage T-shirt, trousers, and bucket hat to a latex bodysuit with matching gloves and a huge furry purple hat to finish the look.

Visually, the director uses a fisheye lens while Tyler rides in a toy Lamborghini and Snoh enjoys tea in a scene.
