American contemporary praise musician Pat Barrett’s first studio album, titled Pat Barrett, was made available on July 20, 2018, through Bowyer & Bow Capitol Christian Music Group.Amanda Cook and Steffany Gretzinger both make cameos on the album. The album’s production was done by Ed Cash.

Critics gave the album excellent reviews and praised Barrett’s open and frank songwriting. Pat Barrett debuted at number 11 on the Official Christian & Gospel Albums Chart in the United Kingdom and number 22 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart in the United States. At the 2019 GMA Dove Awards, “Build My Life” was nominated for the GMA Dove Award for Worship Song of the Year and Worship Recorded Song of the Year.
