Video: India Shawn – Caught In The Middle

India Shawn’s “CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE” stands out as an enthralling song that speaks on the difficulties of being on the fence about moving on from a relationship after repeated listening of her debut studio album, BEFORE WE GO (DEEPER).

Shawn has debuted the music video for her most recent single, “CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE,” which serves as the album’s lead single. The nearly three minute long movie, which was directed by Dennis Leupold, follows Shawn and her partner through a succession of sweet and intimate moments with a tinge of tension between them.

Although the two seem to be in sync and content in each other’s comfort and solace, it’s in the stolen scenes of Shawn alone that we witness a lady who is definitely in love and at odds with her reason and feelings towards this relationship. She may be considering what is, was, and could be, like 702 did on “Get It Together” in 1996. She appears to be deep in meditation.

Like her entire new album, the lovely yet brief video is something that viewers can easily lose themselves in. It’s comforting and sweet, and in all honesty, the entire album ought to be a visual one.
