Video: Offset – CODE ft. Moneybagg Yo

Offset, a Grammy-nominated rapper, has released the music video for his upcoming solo single, “Code,” which features Moneybagg Yo. Bella Hadid, an international supermodel, was chosen to be the star of the high-fashion-infused visual centerpiece.

Offset and Moneybagg trade energetic bars on the Money Musik, ARJI, and Veyis-produced tune, with Offset maintaining his distinctive staccato delivery. Rapping, he says, “Ni**as fake, they counterfeit/ Money boost my confidence/ Hating, that’s unfortunate.” “White diamonds like porcelain/ You can’t call yourself rich if you don’t own any mortgages,” sings the corporate worker who receives checks.

Moneybagg Yo, meanwhile, offers his own snappy cadences. Everyone has an opinion, and they’re all encouraging him to spend his money wisely, but he raps, “You ain’t never had this much money, so I can’t accept your advice/I did ride more PJs than I put on PJs/ Possibly drop at the same time as my opp; ni**a f**k your scheduled release date. In the shimmering scenes, the video features Offset, Moneybagg Yo, and Hadid each wearing Balenciaga clothing.

“CODE” follows Offset’s first solo album in three years, “5 4 3 2 1.” Over 1.2 million Spotify streams and 2.3 million YouTube views for the music video were produced by the single in less than a week.
