Video: Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne – No Frauds
Nicki Minaj has at long last released the music video for “No Frauds,” which features a number of references to royalty as well as a witty cameo appearance.
The music video, which was directed by Benny Boom and released on April 19 and features Drake, Lil Wayne, and other members of the Young Money family, takes place in London, where the singer plays up her image as a queen in the industry while partying with featured guests and Young Money family members.
In the music video, Nicki Minaj can be seen sporting a variety of outfits, including head and mask pieces that pay homage to her buddy, the legendary fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
Rashidah Ali makes a cameo appearance, and she has by far the shadiest look of everyone in the film. In the diss track that was directed towards Remy Ma, there was a brief mention of the former Love & Hip Hop NY cast member. Ali appeared on the reality show as a buddy of the Bronx rapper and even took part in the arranging of Remy’s wedding with Papoose. The wedding was filmed for the show.
Ali revealed this information to TMZ Live earlier this week. “Nicki and I met each other several years ago,” Ali said. “Not only do we comment and like each other’s photos on Instagram, but we are also friends with the same people.” Because Remy and her have a disagreement, it isn’t fair that I should have to lie about my friendship with her.
