Video: Quavo – Workin Me

On Wednesday (August 22), Quavo released the music video for his latest solo single, titled “Workin Me,” giving listeners a sneak peek into his cinematic side. This song was produced by Murda Beatz and is the third and final track on Quavo’s solo step-out EP, which was released earlier this month. It comes after the songs “Bubblegum” and “Lamb Talk.”

As Huncho and Saweetie pursue a romance that is outside the rules, Huncho recruits Saweetie, who is not featured on the track, to play the role of his leading lady in the high-octane music video. The Migos member and his boss have a conversation on loyalty while playing pool in the beginning of the music video. The setting is a mobster’s home. When the iced-out rapper finds that he can’t take his eyes off Saweetie, who has just arrived on the scene, the bossman issues his final command: never, under any circumstances, pursue his niece.

Quavo, as was to be expected, does not abide by the guidelines, which results in him and his “ICY GRL” being placed in an incredibly precarious circumstance. Quavo, Joseph DeRosiers Jr., and Edgar Esteves are responsible for the film’s direction.
