Video: Raheem Bakaré – Forever You

Raheem Bakaré, an up-and-coming R&B sensation, is back with the music video for “Forever You,” which demonstrates that people discover love in the most unanticipated of places all the time. The track, which was produced by MJ Nichols, combines modern bass and synths with classic R&B-inspired stylings. This combination works wonderfully well with Bakaré’s ethereal voice.

Bakaré explained the concept behind the music video “Forever You” by stating that it is a short film that follows the story of a broken guy who has a fortuitous encounter with fate. “As he wanders the streets, a homeless man’s life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a pocket watch that gives him the ability to reverse the passage of time. The watch helps him get a better look at the woman who was around when he found it. Their cute moments together don’t last long since she quickly realizes that he can’t be trusted and she uses the same watch to trick him into going back to the beginning.
