Video: The LOX – Terminator LOX
The LOX’s most recent album, “Terminator LOX,” is a tribute to the past. On the song that samples Public Enemy’s 1988 dedication to its DJ, “Terminator X to the Edge of Panic,” the trio kicks new flows.
The song is accompanied by a music video that was shot by Uncle AJ and directed by Benji Filmz. The video opens with a picture of the Hip-Hop group before LOX member Sheek Louch enters to start things off with a verse. What happened to hip-hop when you placed them on Tik Tok? Sheek poses the question as he strolls along a studio hallway lined with portraits of himself and his group members.
Jadakiss takes the lyrical torch from Sheek and starts writing while wearing a basketball jersey from the Georgetown Hoyas. He leaves tips about how to navigate the streets and the appropriate behavior to adhere to in order to prevent violent altercations all around his establishments. The raspy one laments, “Hate’s expected, we already seen love,” while expressing his pride in his crew’s ability to remain steadfast and endure the storm for almost three decades in the rap business.
