Video: The Isley Brothers – Friends and Family ft. Ronald Isley & Snoop Dogg

Following their participation in an unforgettable Verzuz moment with Earth, Wind, and Fire, The Isley Brothers are keeping the festive spirit alive with the release of their newest single, titled “Friends and Family.”

In the music video directed by Erik White, Ron Isley and his attractive wife, Kandy (who used to be a member of the R&B group JS), are seen throwing a party in their California estate. The party is packed with excellent food, good drinks, good music, and good ol’ fun amongst some good ol’ folks. On the song that makes you want to do the 2-step, Isley talks about the vibe of the party and how much he enjoys it when his people get together. He also introduces the “family and friends dance.”

Snoop Dogg contributes a verse to the song, rapping, “I shuffle my feet and move to the left, I check my outfit, I’m so fresh to death/ Hand my drink to wifey and sit my cup down, now the whole fam bam gettin’ down” in the midst of cameo appearances by celebrities such as LisaRaye McCoy, Kym Whitley, Sherri Sheppard, Syleena Johnson, and Vivica A.

When it comes to Verzuz, the event that took place on Easter Sunday night was one that will not soon be forgotten. D-Nice maintained his dominance on the 1s and 2s. The Isley Brothers and Earth, Wind, and Fire blasted audiences with classic soul songs, music history gems, and reasons to hit their living room dance floor during the holiday weekend. The host, Steve Harvey, came dressed to the nines and interjected comic stories as The Isley Brothers and Earth, Wind, and Fire performed.
